NPORS
Accreditation allows us to recognise a trusted product or service by certifying, authorising, and validating skills, training and education through governing and regulatory groups. There are various accreditations in the industry, and many come with a rich history, making them instantly identifiable as markers of high standards.
NPORS is one of these accreditations. Launched in 1992, the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) is a card scheme for the construction and allied industries, offering categories on plant, lifting operations, small equipment, street works and health & safety.
Why become NPORS Accredited?
NPORS is becoming more widely considered as an alternative to CPCS. Since 2016, NPORS have included a “construction route” which means the delegates’ card will be issued with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) logo, strengthening the holder’s acceptability on site.
Why Citrus Training?
Citrus Training is an NPORS Accredited Training Provider (ATP) with purpose-built sites situated in Irthlingborough and Leeds. In addition, we have the ability to train and assess at customer premises (subject to suitability checks).
All our trainers have lived experience of the jobs and skills they train to their delegates, demonstrating occupational competence in the subject matter and ensuring relevant and relatable learning for everyone on the course. As approved NPORS testers they hold current teaching qualifications, First Aid, and health and safety qualifications.
