CPCS Crane Supervisor Course (A62)

Introduction

Lifting operations are vital in construction and commercial works, but they are high-risk areas of work and require specific training to ensure the safety of everyone involved. With various types of cranes, attachments and accessories to work with, and a different environment and landscape on every job, the role of a crane supervisor is critical to support the operator and others working with and around them.

This CPCS Crane Supervisor A62 training gives delegates the practical skills and theoretical knowledge to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved in crane operation and compliance with the relevant law and legislation.

Through a mix of practical and theory-based exercises and tutorials, delegates will cover manufacturer and general knowledge and awareness of lifting operations use while participating in practical plant operating activities, safety procedures, and best practices for crane use.

The course reflects national standards and industry best practices and is fully accredited in line with regulations. In addition, choose to learn with Citrus, and we can tailor c ourses to fit your specific training needs, with the added flexibility provided by our custom-built training facilities and customer-first approach to how we work.

Our occupationally and technically-experienced trainers guide delegates through this course, completing the session with a theory test and practical assessment to follow. They must pass both to qualify for the CPCS Red Card Crane Supervisor.
