The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) was founded in 1945 and is the only Chartered body for health and safety professionals in the world, in 2002 IOSH were awarded a Royal Charter. IOSH is a highly respected award and aims to regulate the profession, raise awareness, set standards and develop syllabus for training courses.

IOSH working safely
The IOSH working safely training course is intended for people working at any level in any sector and requires a foundation of knowledge in the essentials of health and safety. The IOSH working safely certificate meets the government’s guidelines for preliminary health and safety training. The IOSH course is also an exact equivalent to the Health and Safety Executive’s ‘Passport’ syllabus.
