NPORS - The National Plant Operators Registration Scheme

The National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) was established in 1992 and is recognised as one of the Leading Accreditation and Registration Bodies for mobile plant and related equipment in the UK. NPORS is also accepted as a competent organisation by The Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

NPORS training courses span across many sectors involving transport training including Construction, Industrial, Utilities, Warehousing and Distribution, Agricultural and Ports sectors. NPORS training courses will ensure that employees have the adequate knowledge to safely operate mobile plant machinery.

NPORS provide a large range of plant and other related training courses. As well as offering the standard categories such as excavators, forklift trainings etc, there are many other plant courses you may not find in other schemes, including small and Agricultural machinery.

NPORS Operator Card
The NPORS Operator Card is a documentation to verify a delegate has undertaken the training/assessment to safely operate or drive an item of plant machinery or equipment. The NPORS operator card lasts for three years from the date issued.

Why have a NPORS Operator Card?
Most employers know require proof that the necessary training has been undertaken in order to operate plant machinery. If you hold a NPORS operators card it will prove that you have had the required skill and safety awareness training.

Citrus Training is an accredited NPORS centre for over 45 plant categories. We can either come to your site or you can come to one of our 8 UK plant technical centres.

Be aware that you now need a NPORS or CPCS Touch screen Safety Test as a pre-requisite.
