PASMA Low Level Access

Introduction

Working at any height can pose a danger to the operator and those working around them and low-level access platforms are no exception, despite their smaller stature. Classed as platforms under 2.5 metres, low-level access applies to:

  • Hop-up work platforms
  • Industrial podium steps
  • Multi-purpose ladders
  • Step ladders

This PASMA Low-Level Access certification delivers a thorough understanding of the relevant operational and safety requirements of working with access equipment. It is specifically aimed at Plant Operators who work with manufactured low-level units below 2.5 metres in height.

Course Outline

With a mix of practical and theory-based exercises and tutorials, delegates will cover manufacturer information and general knowledge of low-level access equipment and participate in practical activities to recognise best practices and operating methods.

The course reflects national standards and industry best practices and is fully accredited in line with PASMA. In addition, choose to learn with Citrus, and delegates benefit from our custom-built training facilities and customer-first approach.

Our occupationally and technically-experienced trainers coach delegates on this course, completing the session with a practical observation and multiple-choice question paper. Delegates must achieve 80% or above in both the theory and practical assessment in order to successfully pass the training course.
