Opportunity
  • We are looking to appoint an experienced NVQ assessor to join our growing team. Working with clients across the UK, supervision and management NVQ's
Role Objective
  • To ensure delegates meet the occupational standards required to meet their qualification. 

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Undertake all necessary preparation, administration and assessment associated with supporting NVQ candidates. 
  • Liaise with Site Managers and Clients.
  • Continually review NVQ candidates' progress and assist in action planning to promote their learning via e-portfolio system.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of schemes of assessment, along with attending standardisation meetings.
  • Work closely with the NVQ Admin Team, Plant NVQ Team and Apprenticeship team.
  • Working with candidates to gather required NVQ evidence (Remotely and in person)
  • Provide candidates with appropriate information, advice, and guidance to facilitate their leaning and offer routes of progression or information about additional qualifications as required.

The Person

Experience

  • The candidate will have a strong industry experience, be enthusiastic and flexible to ensure high quality delivery and success for learners.
  • Proven occupational experience within Site Supervisory/Management.

Essential Criteria

  • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or A1 or D32/33.
  • Management NVQ and ideally CIOB status
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK.

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent people skills, customer-focused.
  • Self-motivated and able to do work on their own initiative. 
  • Good communication skills. 

Hours

8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working hours to accommodate the needs of our clients and the business. Travel to training venues nationwide an overnight stays may occasionally be required to fulfil the role.


Salary

Competitive salary subject to experience & Company Car or allowance.

  • Holiday - 25 Days per annum pro-rata, plus bank holidays (3 or 4 days to be saved for a shutdown at Christmas).
