What is Telecoms Training?

The UK has a world-class digital infrastructure that is integral to strengthening the foundations of our digital economy. The infrastructure includes super-fast broadband and telecoms that support all areas of business, healthcare, national security and more, so qualified, high-quality and diligent telecoms professionals are vital to keeping the country moving.

Our range of Civils and telecom courses are specifically designed to train anyone working on the UK’s digital infrastructure across various networks. Citrus Training telecoms qualifications are accredited by Smart Awards - the National Awarding body for telecommunication, construction, digital and utility sectors. We are also licenced by Openreach (BT Group) to provide their industry standard Q modules, as their primary training provider for professionals across the UK.

Which Course Should I Take?

Citrus Training offers two routes to qualifying. The accredited Smart Awards and the Q Modules that are mandatory to work for Openreach.

Smart Awards - For anyone working on any of the various networks across the UK. Operatives must have their National Operatives Passport Scheme (NOPS) card up to date to include these qualifications for any tasks and duties they will carry out daily.

Q Modules  - For anyone working on Openreach’s network. All operatives must be qualified to their Q module standards to carry out their work on Openreach’s asset.
