Building Mental Health Charter

There is a crisis in the construction sector in recognising and tackling emotional and mental health issues. We have a duty of care alongside our peers to educate our industry at all levels to recognise the signs and symptoms. It is crucial to build confidence and knowledge to start the conversation with our colleagues suffering from stress, anxiety or depression and guide them to the assistance they need to aid their recovery. 

Citrus Training and other companies in the Citrus Group, signed the Building Mental Health Charter in May 2021 to demonstrate our commitment to raising awareness of mental health issues within our industry.    

By signing the charter, the Citrus Group companies pledge to adopt the principles set out in the charter, including reducing the stigma relating to mental wellbeing, encouraging conversation in our work and providing assistance to signpost our colleagues to support when they need it most.    

The Building Mental Health initiative is a cross-industry volunteer group of experts that provides support, advice, resources and training to the construction sector to raise mental health awareness.
