Citrus Certified - Crane Lifting Operations Supervisor

Introduction

A crane lifting supervisor oversees and takes responsibility for the movement of all lifting operations on site. With acute awareness, knowledge and understanding of the law relating to lifting operations, the supervisory role ensures the safety and effectiveness of the team through compliance and strict regulatory conduct.

Not all lifts require direct supervision, such as routine lifting by fork-lift operators, but the supervisory role is critical for a safe and effective outcome on more complex or hazardous operations.

This Citrus certification delivers the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding of lifting operations, identifying and eliminating bad operational habits and enforcing safe practice. It is specifically aimed at Plant Operators who require practical and theory-based training and assessment work as a Crane Lifting Operations Supervisor.

Course Outline

With a mix of practical and theory-based exercises and tutorials, delegates will cover machine manufacturers, general knowledge, and awareness of lifting operations use while participating in practical plant operating activities, safety procedures, and best practices.

The course reflects national standards and industry best practices and is fully accredited in line with regulations. In addition, choose to learn with Citrus, and we can tailor courses to fit your specific training needs, with the added flexibility provided by our custom-built training facilities and customer-first approach to how we work.

Our occupationally and technically-experienced trainers coach delegates on this course, assessing throughout and completing the session with a question and answer paper and practical assessment to follow. They must pass the assessment to qualify for the Citrus Certificate and Citrus ID Card, valid for three years.
