High Voltage Jointing 11KV (DNO)

Introduction

To classify as high voltage, transmission cables will run anything above 33kv. They won’t run your washing machine or power the cable TV. Rather the mains electricity to residential buildings, commercial properties, and transport services. high voltage cables are typically used underground because of their volatility versus low voltage. They are identified by a cable identifier that can see through the extensive armour and jointing required to protect itself and people in the vicinity.

Course Outline

Through a mix of practical and theory-based exercises and tutorials, this Citrus High Voltage Jointing 11KV (DNO) qualification gives delegates the understanding, skill, knowledge, and competence to carry out Jointing work on the 11KV Networks, old and new cable Jointing, Triplex, and PILC/PICAS Transitional Joints.

The course reflects national standards and industry best practices and is fully accredited in line with regulations. In addition, choose to learn with Citrus, and delegates will benefit from our custom-built training facilities and customer-first approach.
