All organisations that operate in our core sectors are required by law to have Health and Safety policies and procedures in place as a commitment to their staff. Therefore, training is critical so that workers have the relevant skills and knowledge to carry out their roles safely – in some of the UK's most high-risk and regulated sectors.
Construction is one of the largest employment sectors in the UK. At Citrus, we cover all aspects of Health and Safety within the Built Environment and Utility sectors within construction (both physical & mental health), delivering training and support to almost 15% of the total employees in the UK. Our Health and Safety work is governed by the H&SaW Act legislation, which underpins the quality of our products and services.
Physical, mental and emotional wellbeing
Most Health and Safety at Work is covered by legislation (H&SaW acts) and forms the critical elements of what we do. Our vision ensures that everyone we train has the necessary skills to work safely and provides vital tools and awareness of health and wellbeing.
We embed our core values into how we deliver training, putting our customers at the centre of our decisions and working strategically and in partnership to achieve their goals, adapting as needed along the way. By providing meaningful, practical education, we can ensure that people understand the effects of their actions. Therefore, all the sectors Citrus Training support must cover Health and Safety for both physical & mental health.
