What is Health and Safety at Work?
Health and Safety in the workplace centres around sensibly managing risks to protect your workers and business. Good health and safety management is represented by solid leadership with managers, operators, suppliers, contractors and clients. Heavily regulated, sites are subject to legislation and regular inspections to keep standards and practices high.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reports that 440,000 people sustained an injury at work and reported 142 fatalities from 2020/21. Incident and injury come in many forms for various reasons, so the health and safety of everyone involved in critical. The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 is in place to ensure that all employers provide a safe working environment for their employees, including proper training such as manual handling and fire safety.

Citrus Training are an approved agent for Pheonix Health and Safety who deliver courses on our behalf and will equip you with everything you need for a robust and recognised qualification.
Fire Warden Training
In line with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, our Fire Warden Training ensures businesses conform to legislation.

First Aid at Work is designed for workplaces in a higher risk category (Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction). Emergency First Aid at Work is ideal for low-risk workplaces.
With locations nationwide for Fire Warden and Marshall training, you can attend one of our custom-built centres or we can send a trainer to you, should you prefer to train a group of people at the same time in one place.
No, you do not need to subscribe to any level of IOSH membership to participate in this course.
Yes - you need to make sure your premises have a 240v power supply, that your classroom is big enough and that the practical area has been risk-assessed and suitable before any training takes place.
