Level 2 NVQ in Plant or Machinery Maintenance (Construction)

Introduction

Care and maintenance of plant and machinery are critical to safe operations and productive output on-site. Just knowing how to operate equipment isn’t enough, so learning the fundamentals of maintenance and how to identify problems with plant equipment and machinery is the construction sector essential.

This NOCN Cskills awarded Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance (Construction) qualification enables delegates to demonstrate and recognise skills, knowledge, understanding, and competence in a real workplace environment.

The qualification enables delegates to show they are competent in construction machinery maintenance.

Course Outline

We assess this NVQ over three on-site assessments while the delegate is carrying out their day-to-day duties. Rather than producing a portfolio over time, our specifically assigned assessors gather evidence in the form of photographs, videos, method statements and professional discussions to take forward for examination.

To pass this qualification, delegates must successfully complete and achieve all nine Mandatory Units.

Delegates taking this Level 2 Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance (Construction) will cover knowledge, skills and practices to learn the fundamentals of plant and machinery maintenance in the construction sector.
