Introduction
The term Planning in construction is broad, but the role typically includes planning for projects to assess needs, quantify resources, define goals, develop strategies, describe and allocate tasks, and monitor progress. Project planning in construction is essential to increase productivity and efficiency and plays a huge part in reaching collective goals and objectives. Planners work closely with estimators, engineers, surveyors and more to collectively curate a detailed schedule of works and manage conflicting needs and priorities.
