Mental Health First Aid Refresher - MHFA England

Introduction

MHFA England qualified Mental Health First Aiders have skills for life that support themselves and the people around them, in and out of work. Mental health goes hand-in-hand with physical health – and just like physical first aid, employers and first aiders need to keep their Mental Health First Aid training up to date.

This MHFA refresher certification delivers the most recent mental health and resilience training, handling workplace situations effectively and sensitively. They will update their knowledge of mental health, its challenges, and the stigma it faces. In addition, the training will take delegates through practice applying the Mental First Aid action plan and review how to flag issues and have productive, legal, and positive conversations with workers signed off work for mental health-related problems.

Course Outline

Theory-based exercises and tutorials take delegates through a refresher session of the procedures and legislation in Mental Health First Aid.

The course reflects national standards and industry best practices and is fully accredited in line with regulations. In addition, choose to learn with Citrus, and delegates will benefit from our custom-built training facilities and customer-first approach.

Our occupationally experienced and qualified trainers coach delegates on this course, completing the session with a theoretical assessment. They must pass the examination to renew their MHFA certificate, confirming they are an accredited Mental Health First Aider.
