Introduction
The mobile crane is an on-site essential in building works, transporting goods, lifting apparatus and moving materials. Used extensively on construction projects and sites across the world, they are relatively simple to operate for the trained worker and are often out on hire or lease from plant hire companies. That said, they are potentially dangerous in the wrong hands, with crane collapse and load falling from height a real possibility and ones to avoid. High-quality and stringent training will significantly reduce the possibility of these incidents happening and keep everyone involved safe.
This Mobile Crane N101 NPORS certification delivers the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding to operate a mobile crane safely and effectively. It is for plant operators who require practical and theory-based training and assessment to operate a mobile crane on-site.
Course Outline
Through a mix of practical and theory-based exercises and tutorials, delegates will cover manufacturer and general knowledge and responsibilities when operating a mobile crane while participating in practical plant operating activities, safety procedures, and best practices. They will look at the following variations:
- Wheeled mobile
- Lorry mounted
- Portal
- Trailer mounted
The course reflects national standards and industry best practices and is fully accredited in line with regulations standards set by NPORS. In addition, choose to learn with Citrus, and delegates will benefit from our custom-built training facilities and customer-first approach.
