Introduction
Our Safe Working in Civils course aims to cover a broad spectrum of the work involved, in this case covering excavations and equipment through to gas safety and civil engineering safe practices. By taking this foundation course, operatives have a solid base on which to build their expertise and knowledge, prep themselves for upskilling, and venture into their work with variations and confidence to do their job well.
Operators working on underground networks must hold the relevant qualifications and certifications to do so in the UK. The Smart Awards are a comprehensive range of training awards specifically chosen by the telecoms industry to ensure their workers operate to the correct standards and safety methods. This Citrus Certificate is approved by Smart Awards and prepares delegates in readiness to apply for Q Module training as a prerequisite required by Openreach.
Course Outline
Through a mix of practical and classroom-based exercises and tutorials, delegates will cover legislative and administrative knowledge and awareness while participating in practical tuition to understand the foundations of civil works on an underground telecoms network.
The course reflects national standards and industry best practices and is fully accredited in line with regulations set out by HAUC and Smart Awards. Choose to learn with Citrus, and delegates benefit from training in our custom-built training facilities and customer-first approach.
